Iqra Akram

Iqra gained her first physiotherapy degree in India in 2020 and started working in a major teaching hospital before coming to the UK to study for her Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy in Manchester in 2020.

Since then she has worked across al aspects of physiotherapy both in the NHS and the private sector, gaining valuable experience in every aspect of assessment and treatment of patients both in the NHS and private sector. As an A and E first contact physiotherapist she had to decide on the best course of treatment for acute and injured patients and in private clinics she assessed and treated a wide range of patients with sports injuries to back pain.

Iqra says she prioritises her patients’ needs and expectations to provide a supportive and positive environment for her patients to recover.
